Outlook for 5/28/15

Well someone has heard y'all begging for more rain it seems as we head into Thursday.  Here's the outlook map so far today,  but expect the yellow area to enlarge a bit as the day goes on, and possibly add a red area inside that yellow area.  There are several upper level things happening today west of us that we're just not quite sure of the outcome yet. However, for now the general concensus is that there will be widespread scattered storm formation today, with the main threat being hail. The model data is literally all over the map and several models don't match up with the others, which is making it tough to guess what will happen. Forecasting today is gonna be a tough job, and I'm confident the NWS will get it nailed down this afternoon. For now we're looking at possibly two or three rounds of storms in the area.  Some storms may have the possibility to produce some small hail and winds. These storms will visit us this afternoon into the night I think. I'll try to get an updated more accurate post up here later today. Forecast confidence is pretty low right now, but I figured I'd throw my thoughts on the table.  Bottom line is that at some point today we're gonna be wet.
