It's looking like today will be salvageable for most areas. Most of y'all can expect a partly cloudy day with the sun peeking out occasionally, and highs in the 70's. We may see a shower or two today, but the best chance for severe weather will be late afternoon into the evening in northwestern Missouri. In other words most of you shouldn't run a risk of drowning while you grill out today. The rest of the area should see some rain late tonight into tomorrow morning. Stay weather aware today though, as conditions are always subject to change without notice. Mother Nature has been known to cheat at the weather game sometimes....
