From the beginning of April through last night we have had 17.24 inches of rain at KCI. (the official measuring point for the area) This puts us easily in second place for the April - June 7th period. The record was set at 18.89 inches in 1904! The year 1993 saw 14.11 inches. To bump us into first place all we need is another 2 1/4 inches by the 15th or 5 1/2 inches by the end of the month. If it keeps raining like it has been this will be easily attainable
